ATIEC, Asociación de Traductores e Intérpretes del Ecuador, organized a day-long Wordfast Pro training on April 14, 2012 in Quito, Ecuador.
Eleven translators attended the Wordfast Pro training on April 14, 2012. Thanks to Sandra Palacios, vice-president in charge of continuing professional development, for helping to coordinate this training. At the end of the course, certificates of completion were distributed to all who successfully fulfilled the learning objectives (100% success rate; one of the translators left before we took the picture!).

Feedback from the training was overwhelmingly positive:
"Thanks so much to John for solving specific problems I had with my computer, on different occasions during the session. In general I thought his individual attention was particularly good and appreciated (While slowing things down, it was worth it)." - Anonymous, Quito
"Already mentioned. I am satisfied with the training, just need more and more ...all the levels" - Anonymous, Quito
"Good sense of humor and good chocolates!" - Anonymous, Quito
"Good trainer, time for everyone" - Anonymous, Quito
"Thank you, John is very kind and patient" - Anonymous, Quito

In the evaluation, most did say they would have preferred two days instead of one. ApexTra is currently looking into offering a 2-day course for people completely new to CAT tools.
